NATO and the Warsaw Pact


NATO stands for "North Atlantic Treaty Organization" it was established by military
alliance and was signed on April 4, 1949. In which they agreed for mutual or shared defence from the attacked of any outside party. And was formed by Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France,Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom and United States. They are committed in fulifilling the goals of the North Atlantic Treaty. Warsaw Pact is the "Treaty of Friendship, co-operation, and mutual assistance" was founded in 1955. Warsaw Pact is similar to NATO. It is a total equality of nations and mutual non-interference. Formed allies by Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and the Soviet Union. Wrsaw quickly became powerful for political tool for Soivet Union to the powers of their combined military.
